How to collapse folder in mail for.ipad
To collapse a folder in the Mail app on your iPad, follow these steps:
- Open the Mail app and navigate to the folder you want to collapse.
- Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap the "Collapse" button next to the folder name. It looks like a minus sign (-) in a circle.
- The folder will collapse, and you'll see a brief summary of the contents, including the number of unread messages.
- To expand the folder again, tap the "Expand" button (a plus sign (+) in a circle) next to the folder name.
Alternatively, you can also collapse a folder by:
- Long-pressing on the folder name and then tapping "Collapse" from the context menu.
- Using the "Swipe Left" gesture on the folder name to reveal the "Collapse" option.
Note that collapsing a folder will not delete or move the messages within it. It will simply hide the contents of the folder, making it easier to navigate and manage your email.
