How to copy mail conversation in gmail

There are a few ways to copy a mail conversation in Gmail:

Method 1: Using the "More actions" menu

  1. Open the email conversation you want to copy.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the conversation.
  3. Click on "More actions" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select "Forward" or "Copy to" from the sub-menu.
  5. Choose the desired action: "Forward" will send the conversation to someone else, while "Copy to" will copy the conversation to your own email address.

Method 2: Using the "Forward" button

  1. Open the email conversation you want to copy.
  2. Click on the "Forward" button at the top right corner of the conversation.
  3. In the "To" field, enter the email address you want to copy the conversation to.
  4. Click on the "Forward" button to send the conversation.

Method 3: Using keyboard shortcuts

  1. Open the email conversation you want to copy.
  2. Press the "c" key on your keyboard to copy the conversation.
  3. Right-click on the conversation and select "Copy" from the context menu.

Method 4: Using the "Print" function

  1. Open the email conversation you want to copy.
  2. Click on the "Print" button at the top right corner of the conversation.
  3. In the print preview window, select "Save as PDF" or "Save as HTML" to save the conversation as a file.
  4. Open the saved file and copy the contents.

Note: When copying a mail conversation in Gmail, you can also use the "Include quoted text" option to include the original email text in the copied conversation. To do this, go to the "More actions" menu and select "Forward" or "Copy to", then check the box next to "Include quoted text" before sending or copying the conversation.
