How to create a new folder in mail on ipad
To create a new folder in the Mail app on your iPad, follow these steps:
- Open the Mail app on your iPad.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the "New Folder" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter a name for your new folder in the "New Folder" field.
- Tap on the "Save" button to create the new folder.
Alternatively, you can also create a new folder by dragging and dropping emails into a new folder. To do this:
- Open the Mail app on your iPad.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the folder where you want to create a new subfolder.
- Tap and hold on an email until it becomes highlighted.
- Drag the email to the folder where you want to create the new subfolder.
- Release your finger to create the new subfolder.
Note: You can also create a new folder by using the "Move to" feature. To do this:
- Open the Mail app on your iPad.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the folder where you want to create a new subfolder.
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the email you want to move.
- Tap on the "Move to" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the folder where you want to create the new subfolder.
- Tap on the "Move" button to move the email to the new subfolder.
