How to create an email group in mac mail

To create an email group in Mac Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the email account you want to create the group for from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Groups" tab.
  6. Click the "+" button at the bottom of the window to create a new group.
  7. Enter a name for the group in the "Group Name" field.
  8. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group in the "Members" field. You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with commas.
  9. Click "OK" to save the group.

Alternatively, you can also create an email group by following these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and compose a new email.
  2. In the "To" field, start typing the name of the group you want to create.
  3. As you type, a list of suggested groups will appear. Select the group you want to create from the list.
  4. If the group doesn't exist, click on the "Create New Group" button at the bottom of the list.
  5. Enter a name for the group and add the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group.
  6. Click "OK" to save the group.

Once you've created an email group, you can add or remove members from the group by following these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the email account you want to manage the group for from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Groups" tab.
  6. Select the group you want to manage from the list of groups.
  7. Click on the "Edit" button next to the "Members" field.
  8. Add or remove email addresses from the list of members.
  9. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Note: You can also use the "Add to Group" feature in Mac Mail to add an email address to an existing group. To do this, select the email address you want to add to the group and then click on the "Add to Group" button at the bottom of the window.
