How to create new folder in mac mail

To create a new folder in Mac Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and select the mailbox you want to create a new folder in. This can be your Inbox, Sent, or any other mailbox.
  2. Click on the "File" menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Select "New Folder" from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the "New Folder" window, enter a name for your new folder in the "Name" field.
  5. Choose a location for your new folder by selecting a mailbox from the "Location" dropdown menu. You can choose to create the folder in the current mailbox or in a different mailbox.
  6. Click "Create" to create the new folder.

Alternatively, you can also create a new folder by right-clicking (or control-clicking) on the mailbox you want to create the folder in and selecting "New Folder" from the context menu.

Once you've created the new folder, you can move messages into it by dragging and dropping them into the folder or by using the "Move to" command in the "Message" menu.

Note: If you're using macOS High Sierra or later, you can also create a new folder by clicking on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen and selecting "New Folder" from the drop-down menu.
