How to create new mail in gmail app
To create a new email in the Gmail app, follow these steps:
For Android Devices:
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Tap the Compose button, which looks like a pencil and paper icon, located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- A new email composition window will open.
- Enter the recipient's email address in the To field.
- Enter a subject for your email in the Subject field.
- Type your message in the Message field.
- You can add attachments, such as photos or documents, by tapping the Attach file button.
- When you're finished writing your email, tap the Send button.
For iOS Devices:
- Open the Gmail app on your iOS device.
- Tap the Compose button, which looks like a pencil and paper icon, located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- A new email composition window will open.
- Enter the recipient's email address in the To field.
- Enter a subject for your email in the Subject field.
- Type your message in the Message field.
- You can add attachments, such as photos or documents, by tapping the Attach button.
- When you're finished writing your email, tap the Send button.
Additional Tips:
- You can also create a new email by long-pressing on an email address in your inbox and selecting "Compose" from the context menu.
- You can use the Quick compose feature to quickly send a new email by tapping the Compose button and then selecting a recipient from your contact list.
- You can also use the Smart Reply feature to quickly respond to an email by tapping the Reply button and then selecting a pre-written response.
