How to create sub folders in mac mail inbox

To create subfolders in your Mac Mail inbox, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" folder in the left-hand sidebar to select it.
  3. Click on the "File" menu and select "New Smart Folder" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + F).
  4. In the "New Smart Folder" window, enter a name for your new folder in the "Name" field.
  5. Click on the "Location" dropdown menu and select "Inbox" as the location for your new folder.
  6. Click on the "Create" button to create the new folder.

To create a subfolder within an existing folder, follow these steps:

  2. Select the emails you want to move to the new subfolder.

  5. A new subfolder will be created with the same name as the emails you moved.
