How to delete all mails in gmail in one click

The eternal quest to declutter our inboxes!

Unfortunately, there isn't a single click solution to delete all emails in Gmail at once. However, I can provide you with a few methods to achieve this:

Method 1: Using Gmail's "Select all conversations" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab.
  3. Click on the checkbox at the top left corner of the page to select all conversations (emails).
  4. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Select all conversations" (or press Ctrl+A on Windows or Command+A on Mac).
  5. Click on the "Delete" button.

Method 2: Using Gmail's "Search" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Type the following search query in the search bar: in:inbox is:all
  3. Press Enter to execute the search.
  4. All emails in your inbox will be displayed.
  5. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete" (or press Ctrl+A on Windows or Command+A on Mac, then click on the "Delete" button).

Method 3: Using Gmail's "Labels" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Create a new label by clicking on the "Labels" tab and then clicking on "New label".
  3. Name the label (e.g., "Delete me").
  4. Apply the label to all emails in your inbox by clicking on the checkbox at the top left corner of the page, then clicking on the "Apply label" button.
  5. Go to the "Labels" tab and click on the "Delete" button next to the label you created.

Method 4: Using a third-party browser extension

There are several browser extensions available that can help you delete all emails in Gmail at once. For example:

Please note that these methods may not work if you have a large number of emails in your inbox, as Gmail may timeout or limit the number of emails that can be deleted at once.

Before deleting all emails, make sure you have backed up any important emails or contacts, as this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
