How to delete contact from apple mail
To delete a contact from Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:
On a Mac:
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click on the "Contacts" tab in the top menu bar.
- Select the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
- Right-click (or control-click) on the contact's name and select "Delete Contact" from the context menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the dialog box that appears.
Alternatively, you can also delete a contact from the "Contacts" view in Apple Mail:
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click on the "Contacts" tab in the top menu bar.
- Select the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
- Click on the "Edit" menu and select "Delete Contact" from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the dialog box that appears.
On an iOS device:
- Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
- Tap on the "Contacts" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Find the contact you want to delete and swipe left on their name.
- Tap the "Delete" button that appears.
- Confirm that you want to delete the contact by tapping "Delete Contact" in the dialog box that appears.
Note: If you have synced your contacts with iCloud or another service, deleting a contact from Apple Mail will also delete it from those services.
