How to delete contact from apple mail

To delete a contact from Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:

On a Mac:

  1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" tab in the top menu bar.
  3. Select the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
  4. Right-click (or control-click) on the contact's name and select "Delete Contact" from the context menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the dialog box that appears.

Alternatively, you can also delete a contact from the "Contacts" view in Apple Mail:

  1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" tab in the top menu bar.
  3. Select the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
  4. Click on the "Edit" menu and select "Delete Contact" from the drop-down menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the dialog box that appears.

On an iOS device:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on the "Contacts" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Find the contact you want to delete and swipe left on their name.
  4. Tap the "Delete" button that appears.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the contact by tapping "Delete Contact" in the dialog box that appears.

Note: If you have synced your contacts with iCloud or another service, deleting a contact from Apple Mail will also delete it from those services.
