How to delete contact in google mail

To delete a contact in Google Mail (Gmail), you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete a contact from the Contacts list

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" icon (looks like a person) in the top navigation bar.
  3. Find the contact you want to delete in the list of contacts.
  4. Click on the three vertical dots next to the contact's name.
  5. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Delete a contact from a conversation

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the conversation with the contact you want to delete.
  3. Click on the contact's name at the top of the conversation.
  4. Click on the three vertical dots next to the contact's name.
  5. Select "Delete contact" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.

Method 3: Delete multiple contacts at once

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" icon (looks like a person) in the top navigation bar.
  3. Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to delete.
  4. Click on the "More" dropdown menu and select "Delete".
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the selected contacts by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you delete a contact, you will also remove them from your Gmail contacts list and any conversations you have with them. However, if you have sent emails to that contact, they will still be in your Sent folder.
