How to delete folders in mail

To delete folders in your email account, the steps may vary depending on the email provider and the device you're using. Here are some general steps for popular email providers:

Gmail

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab.
  3. Click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) next to the folder you want to delete.
  4. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.

Outlook

Important note

Before deleting a folder, make sure you're not deleting a folder that contains important emails or messages. Also, be aware that deleting a folder may also delete any subfolders or messages within that folder.
