How to delete ipad mail

To delete an email on your iPad, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete an email from the Inbox

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the Inbox tab to view your emails.
  3. Find the email you want to delete and swipe your finger from left to right across the email.
  4. Tap the "Delete" button that appears.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the email by tapping "Delete" again.

Method 2: Delete an email from a specific folder

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the folder where the email is located (e.g. Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.).
  3. Find the email you want to delete and tap on it to open it.
  4. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap the "Delete" button that appears next to the email.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the email by tapping "Delete" again.

Method 3: Delete multiple emails at once

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the Inbox tab to view your emails.
  3. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select the emails you want to delete by tapping on each one.
  5. Tap the "Delete" button that appears in the top-right corner of the screen.

Method 4: Delete all emails in a folder

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the folder where the emails are located (e.g. Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.).
  3. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap the "Select All" button (it looks like a checkbox) to select all emails in the folder.
  5. Tap the "Delete" button that appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the emails by tapping "Delete" again.

Note: When you delete an email, it will be moved to the "Trash" folder. If you want to permanently delete the email, you'll need to go to the Trash folder and delete it from there.
