  2. Click on "Programs and Features" (Windows 10/8) or "Add or Remove Programs" (Windows 7).
  3. Find "Windows Live Essentials" in the list of installed programs and click on it.
  4. Click the "Uninstall" button or "Remove" button.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

Remove remaining files and folders:

  1. Go to the "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live" folder. Replace "" with your actual Windows username.
  2. Delete the "Windows Live Mail" folder.
  3. Go to the "C:\Program Files\Windows Live" folder and delete the "Windows Live Mail" folder.
  4. Go to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live" folder (if you're using a 64-bit version of Windows) and delete the "Windows Live Mail" folder.
  5. Empty the "Recycle Bin" to permanently delete the files and folders.

Additional steps:

  1. If you're using Windows 10, you may need to remove the "Windows Live Mail" app from the "Start menu" by right-clicking on it and selecting "Uninstall".
  2. If you're using Windows 7, you may need to remove the "Windows Live Mail" shortcut from the "Start menu" by right-clicking on it and selecting "Delete".
  3. If you're using a Microsoft account to access your email, you may need to sign out of your account and then sign back in to remove any remaining email data.

Important note:

Before deleting Live Mail, make sure you've backed up any important email data, such as contacts, calendar events, and email messages. You can use the "Windows Live Mail" export feature to export your data to a file or another email client.

After deleting Live Mail, you can reinstall it if you need to access your email data again. However, if you're no longer using Live Mail, you can safely delete it to free up space on your computer.
