How to delete mail from date to date
To delete emails from a specific date range in most email clients, you can follow these steps:
Gmail:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Search" box at the top of the page.
- Type
after:<start_date> before:<end_date>
in the search box, replacing<start_date>
and<end_date>
with the dates you want to delete emails from (e.g.,after:2022-01-01 before:2022-01-31
). - Press Enter to execute the search.
- Select all the emails in the search results by checking the box at the top left corner of the page.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete forever".
Outlook:
- Log in to your Outlook account.
- Click on the "Inbox" folder.
- Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Filter" button in the "Arrival" group.
- In the "Filter" dialog box, select "Date" as the filter criteria.
- Choose "Between" as the operator and enter the start and end dates you want to delete emails from (e.g.,
01/01/2022
and01/31/2022
). - Click "OK" to apply the filter.
- Select all the emails in the filtered results by checking the box at the top left corner of the page.
- Right-click on the selected emails and choose "Delete" to delete them permanently.
Yahoo Mail:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Search" box at the top of the page.
- Type
