How to delete mail from outlook from receiver's inbox

To delete an email from the receiver's inbox in Outlook, you can use the "Delete" button or the "Move to" feature. Here are the steps:

Method 1: Delete button

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Inbox" folder.
  2. Select the email you want to delete by checking the box next to it.
  3. Click the "Delete" button in the "Home" tab or press the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up dialog box.

Method 2: Move to

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Inbox" folder.
  2. Select the email you want to delete by checking the box next to it.
  3. Right-click on the selected email and choose "Move to" > "Deleted Items" (or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete).
  4. The email will be moved to the "Deleted Items" folder, where it will be permanently deleted after a short period of time (usually 14 days).

Note: If you want to permanently delete the email without moving it to the "Deleted Items" folder, you can use the "Shift+Delete" keys instead of just "Delete". This will bypass the "Deleted Items" folder and permanently delete the email.

Additional tip: If you want to delete multiple emails at once, you can select multiple emails by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on each email, and then use the "Delete" button or "Move to" feature to delete them all at once.
