How to delete mail from server thunderbird

To delete emails from the server in Thunderbird, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete emails from the server using the "Expunge" feature

  1. Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account Settings" window by clicking on "Tools" > "Account Settings" or pressing Ctrl + Shift + A.
  2. Select the account you want to delete emails from the server for.
  3. Click on the "Server Settings" button.
  4. Scroll down to the "Delete" section.
  5. Check the box next to "Expunge deleted messages from server" to enable this feature.
