How to delete mail searches in gmail
In Gmail, you can delete mail searches by following these steps:
Method 1: Delete a search query from the search bar
- Open Gmail and type a search query in the search bar.
- Press Enter to execute the search.
- Click on the "Search" button at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Delete" link next to the search query.
Method 2: Delete a search query from the search results page
- Open Gmail and type a search query in the search bar.
- Press Enter to execute the search.
- On the search results page, click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Delete search" from the dropdown menu.
Method 3: Delete all search queries
- Open Gmail and click on the gear icon () at the top right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Search" section.
- Click on the "Delete search history" button.
- Confirm that you want to delete your search history by clicking on the "OK" button.
Note: Deleting search queries will remove the search history from your Gmail account, but it will not delete any emails that were previously searched for.
