How to delete mail searches in gmail

In Gmail, you can delete mail searches by following these steps:

Method 1: Delete a search query from the search bar

  1. Open Gmail and type a search query in the search bar.
  2. Press Enter to execute the search.
  3. Click on the "Search" button at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the "Delete" link next to the search query.

Method 2: Delete a search query from the search results page

  1. Open Gmail and type a search query in the search bar.
  2. Press Enter to execute the search.
  3. On the search results page, click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the page.
  4. Select "Delete search" from the dropdown menu.

Method 3: Delete all search queries

  1. Open Gmail and click on the gear icon () at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the "Search" section.
  4. Click on the "Delete search history" button.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete your search history by clicking on the "OK" button.

Note: Deleting search queries will remove the search history from your Gmail account, but it will not delete any emails that were previously searched for.
