How to delete mail sent but keep copy in gmail
In Gmail, you can delete a sent email while keeping a copy in your "Sent Mail" folder. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Move to" feature
- Go to your Gmail inbox and find the sent email you want to delete.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Move to" from the dropdown menu.
- Choose "Sent Mail" from the list of folders.
- Click on the "Move" button.
- A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click on "Move" again to confirm.
Method 2: Using the "More" menu
- Go to your Gmail inbox and find the sent email you want to delete.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Mark as read" (or "Mark as unread" if it's already read).
- Click on the "More" menu again.
- Select "Move to" > "Sent Mail".
- Click on the "Move" button.
Method 3: Using keyboard shortcuts
