How to delete mail sent from gmail

Unfortunately, once you've sent an email from Gmail, it's not possible to delete it from the recipient's inbox. However, you can delete the sent email from your own Gmail account. Here's how:

Method 1: Delete sent email from Gmail's Sent folder

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page and select "Sent mail" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Find the email you want to delete in the Sent folder.
  4. Check the box next to the email to select it.
  5. Click on the "Trash" button at the top of the page.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Delete sent email from Gmail's Search bar

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Type "in:sent" in the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Press Enter to search for all sent emails.
  4. Find the email you want to delete in the search results.
  5. Click on the email to open it.
  6. Click on the "Trash" button at the top of the page.
  7. Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you delete an email from your Sent folder, it will be moved to the Trash folder. If you want to permanently delete the email, you'll need to empty the Trash folder. To do this, go to the Trash folder, check the box next to each email you want to delete, and click "Empty Trash now" at the top of the page.

Remember that deleting an email from your Sent folder does not delete it from the recipient's inbox. If you want to retract or recall an email, you may need to use a third-party service or app that offers email recall features.
