How to delete older mails in gmail

There are a few ways to delete older emails in Gmail:

Method 1: Using the "Search" function

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Type older_than: followed by a number (e.g., older_than:1y for emails older than 1 year).
  4. Press Enter to execute the search.
  5. Select the emails you want to delete by checking the boxes next to them.
  6. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete forever".

Method 2: Using the "Filter" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings".
  3. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  5. In the "From" field, enter older_than: followed by a number (e.g., older_than:1y for emails older than 1 year).
  6. Click on the "Create filter" button.
  7. Select "Delete it" as the action.
  8. Click on the "Create" button.

Method 3: Using the "Labels" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
