How to delete recent mail adresses mac mail via library

To delete recent mail addresses in Mac Mail via the Library, follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and go to the "Mail" menu.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the Preferences window, click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the account you want to manage from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab.
  6. In the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab, click on the "Recent" tab.
  7. In the "Recent" tab, you'll see a list of recent mail addresses. Select the ones you want to delete by checking the boxes next to them.
  8. Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the window to remove the selected recent mail addresses.

Alternatively, you can also delete recent mail addresses by using the "Library" folder in the Finder:

  2. In the Library folder, navigate to the "Mail" folder.
  3. Open the "Mail" folder and look for the "Recent" folder.

Note: Deleting recent mail addresses will remove them from the "Recent" tab in Mac Mail, but it will not delete the actual email messages themselves.
