How to delete the delivered mail
I'm assuming you're referring to deleting emails that have been delivered to your inbox.
Here are the general steps to delete delivered emails:
Web-based Email Clients (e.g., Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo Mail):
- Log in to your email account on the web.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your emails.
- Select the email(s) you want to delete by checking the box next to each email.
- Click on the "Delete" or "Trash" button (usually located at the top or bottom of the page).
- Confirm that you want to delete the email(s) by clicking "OK" or "Delete" again.
Desktop Email Clients (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird):
- Open your email client and navigate to your inbox.
- Select the email(s) you want to delete by checking the box next to each email.
- Right-click on the selected email(s) and choose "Delete" or "Move to Trash" from the context menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the email(s) by clicking "OK" or "Delete" again.
Mobile Email Apps:
- Open your email app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the email(s) you want to delete to open them.
- Tap the "Delete" or "Trash" button (usually located at the top or bottom of the screen).
- Confirm that you want to delete the email(s) by tapping "OK" or "Delete" again.
Important Notes:
- Be cautious when deleting emails, as this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Some email providers may have a "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder where deleted emails are stored for a short period before being permanently deleted. Check your email provider's settings to see if this is the case.
- If you're using a shared email account or have multiple users accessing the same account, be aware that deleting emails may affect other users' access to those emails.
