How to delete unread mails in gmail
There are a few ways to delete unread emails in Gmail:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Inbox
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Unread" label at the top of the page.
- Check the box next to each unread email you want to delete.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete forever".
Method 2: Using the Gmail Search Bar
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Type "is:unread" in the search bar and press Enter.
- This will show you all your unread emails.
- Check the box next to each unread email you want to delete.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete forever".
Method 3: Using Gmail's Filter Feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings".
- Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- In the "From" field, type "is:unread" and press Enter.
- Click on the "Create filter" button.
- Select "Delete it" as the action.
- Click on the "Create" button.
Method 4: Using Gmail's Keyboard Shortcut
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Press the "u" key on your keyboard to select all unread emails.
- Press the "d" key on your keyboard to delete the selected emails.
Note: When you delete an email in Gmail, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Make sure you're deleting the correct emails before confirming the deletion.
