How to denote a mail id in word 2013

In Word 2013, you can denote a mail ID in a few ways:

  1. Hyperlink: You can create a hyperlink to the email address by following these steps:
    • Select the text that you want to use as the mail ID.
    • Go to the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
    • Click on the "Link" button in the "Links" group.
    • In the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box, enter the email address in the "Address" field.
    • Click "OK".
  2. Email Address: You can also use the "Email Address" feature to create a clickable email address. To do this:
    • Select the text that you want to use as the mail ID.
    • Go to the "References" tab in the ribbon.
    • Click on the "Email Address" button in the "Mailings" group.
    • In the "Email Address" dialog box, enter the email address and click "OK".
  3. Format as Email: You can also use the "Format as Email" feature to format the text as an email address. To do this:
    • Select the text that you want to use as the mail ID.
    • Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
    • Click on the "Font" button in the "Font" group.
    • In the "Font" dialog box, click on the "Format" tab.
    • In the "Format" tab, click on the "Email Address" button.
    • In the "Email Address" dialog box, enter the email address and click "OK".

Once you've created a hyperlink or used the "Email Address" feature, the mail ID will be displayed in a clickable format, and users can click on it to open their email client and compose a new email to the specified address.
