How to do bcc in google mail
To send an email with a Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) in Gmail, follow these steps:
- Compose a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button in your Gmail inbox.
- Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field.
- Click on the "Bcc" button located at the bottom of the "To" field. It looks like a small envelope with a white background.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you want to include in the BCC list. You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with commas.
- Make sure to check the "Bcc" box next to each email address to ensure that they are included in the BCC list.
- Click on the "Send" button to send the email.
Note: When you use the BCC feature in Gmail, the email addresses of the people you include in the BCC list will not be visible to the recipient. This is because the BCC feature is designed to keep the email addresses of the recipients private.
Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + B" (Windows) or "Command + Shift + B" (Mac) to quickly access the BCC feature.
Here are some additional tips to keep in mind when using the BCC feature in Gmail:
- You can only include up to 100 email addresses in a BCC list.
- If you try to include more than 100 email addresses, Gmail will not allow you to send the email.
- When you use the BCC feature, the email will still be counted towards your daily sending limit.
- If you want to send an email to a large number of people, it's a good idea to use a mailing list service or a third-party email marketing tool instead of using the BCC feature.
