How to drop send mail in gmail

To drop a sent email in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the "General" tab.
  4. Look for the "Undo Send" section and toggle the switch to the "On" position.
  5. Set the "Undo Send" window to the desired time (e.g., 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
  6. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Now, when you send an email, you'll have a short window of time (set by you) to undo the send action. To do so:

  1. Go to the "Sent" folder.
  2. Find the email you want to undo.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots next to the email.
  4. Select "Undo" from the dropdown menu.

Method 2: Using the "Report spam" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select "Report spam" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Find the email you want to drop in the "Sent" folder.
  4. Check the box next to the email.
  5. Click "Report spam" at the top of the page.

This will move the email to the "Spam" folder, effectively "dropping" it.

Method 3: Using the "Delete" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select "All mail" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Find the email you want to drop in the "Sent" folder.
  4. Check the box next to the email.
  5. Click "Delete" at the top of the page.

This will permanently delete the email from your Gmail account.

Remember that once you've dropped an email, it's gone forever, so make sure you're sure before taking this step!
