How to edit a draft in apple mail
Apple Mail allows you to edit drafts of emails you've started composing but haven't sent yet. Here's how:
Method 1: Edit a draft from the Drafts folder
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click on the "Drafts" folder in the left-hand sidebar.
- Select the draft you want to edit from the list of drafts.
- Click on the draft to open it in the main email composition window.
- Make your changes to the email as needed.
- Click the "Send" button or press Command+S to save your changes and keep the draft.
Method 2: Edit a draft from the Compose window
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click on the "Compose" button in the top-left corner of the window to start a new email.
- Type in the recipient's email address, subject, and body of the email as needed.
- Click on the "Draft" button in the top-right corner of the window to save the email as a draft.
- Make your changes to the email as needed.
- Click the "Send" button or press Command+S to save your changes and keep the draft.
Tips:
- You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command+Shift+D to save a draft and return to the Drafts folder.
- If you want to delete a draft, select it in the Drafts folder and press the Delete key or right-click and select "Move to Trash".
