How to email documents from keynote app
To email documents from the Keynote app on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:
On a Mac:
- Open the Keynote app and select the presentation you want to email.
- Click on "File" in the top menu bar and select "Export To" or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + E.
- In the export window, select "Email" as the export option.
- Choose the email client you want to use (e.g., Mail, Outlook, etc.).
- Enter the recipient's email address and any additional details you want to include in the email.
- Click "Export" to send the presentation as an email attachment.
On an iOS device:
- Open the Keynote app and select the presentation you want to email.
- Tap the "Share" icon (represented by a box with an arrow coming out of it) in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap "Email" from the share menu.
- Enter the recipient's email address and any additional details you want to include in the email.
- Tap "Send" to send the presentation as an email attachment.
Tips:
- You can also email a presentation from the Keynote app by using the "Share" icon and selecting "Message" instead of "Email". This will open the Messages app with a draft message containing the presentation as an attachment.
- If you want to send a specific slide or a range of slides, you can select them before emailing the presentation.
- You can also customize the email attachment format by going to Keynote > Preferences > Export and selecting the desired format (e.g., PDF, PowerPoint, etc.).
