How to empty apple mail drafts

To empty Apple Mail drafts on a Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:

On a Mac:

  1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or press Command + comma).
  3. In the Preferences window, click on the "Composing" tab.
  4. Scroll down to the "Drafts" section.
  5. Click on the "Empty Drafts" button.

Alternatively, you can also empty drafts by:

  1. Opening Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Clicking on "File" in the top menu bar and selecting "Empty Drafts" (or press Command + Shift + D).

On an iOS device:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Select All" to select all drafts.
  4. Tap on the "Trash" button to delete all selected drafts.

Alternatively, you can also empty drafts by:

  1. Opening the Mail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tapping on the "Drafts" folder.
  3. Swiping left on each draft to delete it, or tap on the "Edit" button and then tap on "Delete" to delete all drafts at once.

Note: If you want to permanently delete all drafts, make sure to empty the "Trash" folder as well.
