How to empty apple mail drafts
To empty Apple Mail drafts on a Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:
On a Mac:
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or press Command + comma).
- In the Preferences window, click on the "Composing" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Drafts" section.
- Click on the "Empty Drafts" button.
Alternatively, you can also empty drafts by:
- Opening Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Clicking on "File" in the top menu bar and selecting "Empty Drafts" (or press Command + Shift + D).
On an iOS device:
- Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Select All" to select all drafts.
- Tap on the "Trash" button to delete all selected drafts.
Alternatively, you can also empty drafts by:
- Opening the Mail app on your iOS device.
- Tapping on the "Drafts" folder.
- Swiping left on each draft to delete it, or tap on the "Edit" button and then tap on "Delete" to delete all drafts at once.
Note: If you want to permanently delete all drafts, make sure to empty the "Trash" folder as well.
