How to filter contact from mail

There are several ways to filter contacts from email:

  1. Open your email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail).
  2. Go to the settings or preferences section.
  3. Look for the "Filters" or "Rules" tab.
  4. Create a new filter or rule with the following conditions:
    • "From" or "To" contains the contact's email address.
    • "Subject" contains a specific keyword or phrase.
    • "Has attachment" if you want to filter emails with attachments.
  5. Set the action for the filter, such as:
    • "Mark as read" or "Move to folder" to automatically categorize the email.
    • "Delete" to automatically delete the email.

Method 2: Using Email Client Labels

  1. Open your email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail).
  2. Go to the settings or preferences section.
  3. Look for the "Labels" or "Categories" tab.
  4. Create a new label with a name that describes the contact (e.g., "John Smith").
  5. Apply the label to the contact's email by checking the box next to the label.
  6. You can then use the label to filter emails from that contact.

  2. Use the search function to find emails from a specific contact.
  3. Use the search operators (e.g., "from:[email protected]") to refine the search.
  4. You can then use the search results to filter emails from that contact.
