How to find archived mail in thunderbird

In Thunderbird, archived emails are stored in a separate folder called "Archived" by default. Here are the steps to find archived mail in Thunderbird:

  1. Open Thunderbird: First, open Thunderbird on your computer.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" button: In the top left corner of the Thunderbird window, click on the "Inbox" button to open the Inbox folder.
  3. Look for the "Archived" folder: In the folder list on the left side of the window, scroll down and look for the "Archived" folder. It's usually located near the bottom of the list.
  4. Double-click on the "Archived" folder: Double-click on the "Archived" folder to open it. This will display all the archived emails in the folder.
  5. Use the search function: If you're having trouble finding a specific archived email, you can use Thunderbird's search function. Click on the "Search" button in the top right corner of the window, and enter your search criteria (e.g., a keyword, sender, or recipient).
  6. Use the "Show" menu: You can also use the "Show" menu to filter the archived emails. Click on "Show" > "Archived" to only show archived emails, or click on "Show" > "All" to show all emails, including archived ones.
