How to force quit mail app on iphone

To force quit the Mail app on your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Double-press the Home button (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen if you have an iPhone X or later) to open the app switcher.
  2. Find the Mail app in the list of open apps and swipe it up to close it.

Alternatively, you can also force quit the Mail app by using the "Force Quit" feature:

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top right side of your iPhone until the "Slide to Power Off" slider appears.
  2. Release the Sleep/Wake button and immediately press and hold the Home button (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen if you have an iPhone X or later) until the app switcher appears.
  3. Find the Mail app in the list of open apps and swipe it up to close it.

Note: Force quitting an app can sometimes cause you to lose any unsaved data or changes you made in the app. It's generally recommended to try to close an app normally by double-pressing the Home button and swiping up on the app before using the "Force Quit" feature.
