How to forward mails in junk folder to inbox
The eternal struggle of dealing with spam emails!
Forwarding emails from the junk folder to the inbox can be a bit tricky, but I'll guide you through the process. The steps may vary slightly depending on your email provider, so please check your email client's settings if you're unsure.
Method 1: Forwarding individual emails
- Log in to your email account and go to the junk folder.
- Select the email you want to forward to the inbox.
- Click on the "More" or "Actions" button (usually represented by three dots or a gear icon).
- Select "Forward" or "Forward as attachment" (depending on your email client).
- Enter the recipient's email address (usually your own email address) in the "To" field.
- Click "Send" to forward the email to the inbox.
Method 2: Forwarding multiple emails at once
- Log in to your email account and go to the junk folder.
- Select the first email you want to forward to the inbox.
- Press and hold the "Shift" key while selecting the last email you want to forward.
- Right-click on the selected emails and choose "Forward" or "Forward as attachment".
- Enter the recipient's email address (usually your own email address) in the "To" field.
- Click "Send" to forward the selected emails to the inbox.
Method 3: Creating a filter or rule
- Log in to your email account and go to the settings or preferences.
- Look for the "Filters" or "Rules" section.
- Create a new filter or rule with the following conditions:
- Apply to: Junk folder
- Move to: Inbox
- Apply to messages that: Contain specific keywords or phrases (optional)
- Save the filter or rule.
- From now on, emails that match the filter or rule will be automatically moved from the junk folder to the inbox.
Additional tips:
- Be cautious when forwarding emails from the junk folder, as they may still contain spam or malware.
- Consider marking emails as "Not Junk" instead of forwarding them to the inbox. This will help your email client learn to recognize the sender as legitimate.
- If you're using a web-based email client, you may need to use the "More" or "Actions" button to access the forward option.
- If you're using a desktop email client, you may need to use the "Forward" button in the toolbar or right-click on the email and select "Forward".
I hope this helps you forward those pesky junk emails to the inbox!
