How to get an achieved mail back in gmail

The elusive "Achieved" label in Gmail!

The "Achieved" label is a temporary label that Gmail applies to a message when it's been marked as "Done" in the Tasks feature. When a message is marked as "Done", Gmail moves it to the "Achieved" label, which is a special label that's not visible by default.

To get an "Achieved" labeled message back in your Gmail inbox, follow these steps:

  1. Enable the Tasks feature: Make sure you have the Tasks feature enabled in your Gmail account. To do this, go to Settings (gear icon) > See all settings > Labs > Tasks > Enable.
  2. Find the "Achieved" label: In your Gmail inbox, click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) and select "Show search options". In the search bar, type label:achieved and press Enter.
  3. Move the message back to your inbox: Select the "Achieved" labeled message(s) you want to move back to your inbox. Right-click on the selected message(s) and choose "Move to Inbox" or use the keyboard shortcut m.
  4. Remove the "Achieved" label: If you want to remove the "Achieved" label from the message, select the message and click on the "Labels" button (looks like a tag). Remove the "Achieved" label by clicking on the "X" next to it.

Alternatively, you can also use the Gmail search operator is:done to find all messages that have been marked as "Done" and are currently in the "Achieved" label. Then, you can move them back to your inbox using the same method as above.

Note that the "Achieved" label is a temporary label, and Gmail will automatically remove it after a certain period of time (usually 30 days). If you want to keep the message in your inbox permanently, you can remove the "Achieved" label and add a new label or star the message instead.
