How to get ipad mail to display read emails

By default, the Mail app on your iPad only displays unread emails. However, you can change this setting to display read emails as well. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the Mail app settings

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on the mailbox you want to modify (e.g., "Inbox").
  4. Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. Scroll down to the "Show" section.
  6. Tap on "Show" and select "All" from the dropdown menu.
  7. Tap "Done" to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the Mail app's filter

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on the mailbox you want to modify (e.g., "Inbox").
  4. Tap on the "Filter" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap on "Edit Filter" and then tap on "Add Filter".
  6. In the "Filter" field, enter "is:read" (without quotes).
  7. Tap "Save" to save the filter.

Now, when you open the Mail app, you should see both unread and read emails in your mailbox.

Note: If you want to display only read emails, you can use the same filter method, but enter "is:read" instead of "is:unread".
