How to get mail app back
The Mail app!
If you're missing the Mail app on your Windows 10 device, here are a few ways to get it back:
Method 1: Check if it's hidden
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type
ms-settings:mail
and press Enter. - If the Mail app is hidden, you'll see a message saying "Mail is not installed on this device." Click on the "Get the app" button to download and install it.
Method 2: Check for updates
- Go to the Microsoft Store (you can search for it in the Start menu).
- Click on the three horizontal lines () in the top left corner to open the menu.
- Click on "My Library" and then "Updates" to check for any pending updates.
- If an update is available, click on "Update" to install it.
Method 3: Reinstall the Mail app
- Go to the Microsoft Store (as described above).
- Search for "Mail" in the search bar.
- Click on the "Mail" app icon to open its page.
- Click on the "Install" button to reinstall the app.
