How to get the draft mail back after deleting

The frustration of accidentally deleting a draft email!

Don't worry, there are a few ways to recover a deleted draft email, depending on the email client or service you're using. Here are some methods:

Gmail

  1. Check your "Trash" folder: If you deleted the draft email, it might have been moved to the Trash folder. Log in to your Gmail account, go to the Trash folder, and look for the deleted draft email. If you find it, you can restore it by clicking the "Restore" button.
  2. Use Gmail's "Undo Send" feature: If you enabled the "Undo Send" feature in your Gmail settings, you might be able to recover the deleted draft email. Go to your Gmail settings, click on the "General" tab, and look for the "Undo Send" option. If you see a "Undo" button next to the deleted email, click it to recover the draft.
  3. Use Gmail's "Recover deleted messages" feature: If you're using Gmail's web interface, you can try using the "Recover deleted messages" feature. Log in to your Gmail account, click on the gear icon, and select "See all settings." Then, click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab, and look for the "Recover deleted messages" option. If you find it, you can try recovering the deleted draft email.

Outlook

  1. Check your "Deleted Items" folder: If you deleted the draft email, it might have been moved to the "Deleted Items" folder. Log in to your Outlook account, go to the "Deleted Items" folder, and look for the deleted draft email. If you find it, you can restore it by right-clicking on the email and selecting "Restore."
  2. Use Outlook's "Recover Deleted Items" feature: If you're using Outlook 2013 or later, you can try using the "Recover Deleted Items" feature. Log in to your Outlook account, go to the "Deleted Items" folder, and right-click on the deleted draft email. Select "Recover Deleted Items" and follow the prompts to recover the email.

Other email clients and services

  1. Check your email client's "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder: Most email clients have a "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder where deleted emails are stored. Check this folder to see if the deleted draft email is still there.
  2. Contact your email provider's support: If you're unable to recover the deleted draft email using the above methods, you can contact your email provider's support team to see if they can help you recover it.

Remember to always be cautious when deleting emails, and consider using a backup service or email client with a built-in backup feature to prevent data loss in the future.
