How to get undo mail in gmail

The frustration of accidentally deleting an important email!

In Gmail, you can recover an undelivered email (also known as a "sent but not delivered" email) by using the "Undo Send" feature. Here's how:

Enable Undo Send:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "See all settings."
  4. Scroll down to the "General" tab.
  5. Look for the "Undo Send" section.
  6. Check the box next to "Enable Undo Send."
  7. Choose the time frame for which you want to be able to undo sent emails (5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
  8. Click "Save Changes."

Undo a Sent Email:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Go to the "Sent" folder.
  3. Find the email you want to undo.
  4. Click on the three vertical dots next to the email.
  5. Select "Undo" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to undo the email by clicking "Undo" again.

Note: The "Undo Send" feature only works for emails that have not been delivered yet. If the email has already been delivered, you won't be able to undo it.

Alternative Method:

If you've already sent an email and want to recover it, you can try using Gmail's "Trash" feature. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Go to the "Trash" folder.
  3. Find the email you want to recover.
  4. Click on the email to open it.
  5. Click on the "Restore" button.
  6. Confirm that you want to restore the email by clicking "OK."

Keep in mind that the "Trash" feature only works for emails that have been deleted from your inbox, but not for emails that have been sent and then deleted.
