How to group somebodys only mails in gmail
In Gmail, you can use filters to automatically categorize and group emails from a specific person or sender. Here's how:
Method 1: Using Gmail Filters
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on "Create a new filter."
- In the "From" field, enter the email address of the person you want to group emails from.
- Click on "Create filter."
- In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "New label" and enter a name for the label (e.g., "John's emails").
- Click on "Create."
Now, all emails from that person will be automatically labeled with the label you created. You can then use this label to group and manage these emails.
Method 2: Using Gmail Labels
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the label icon () in the upper right corner.
- Click on "New label" and enter a name for the label (e.g., "John's emails").
- Click on "Create."
- Go to the email from the person you want to group emails from.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Add to label" and choose the label you created in step 3.
Now, this email will be labeled with the label you created. You can repeat this process for all emails from this person.
Tips:
- You can also use Gmail's "Search" function to find all emails from a specific person. Simply type "from:[email protected]" (replace with the email address) in the search bar.
- To group emails from multiple people, create separate labels for each person and use the "Search" function to find all emails from those people.
- You can also use Gmail's "Priority Inbox" feature to automatically categorize important emails from specific people.
