How to hide received emails in yahoo

Unfortunately, Yahoo Mail does not have a built-in feature to completely hide received emails. However, you can take a few steps to minimize the visibility of received emails or make them less noticeable:

  1. Use the "Unread" filter: You can set up a filter to mark all emails as "Unread" as soon as they arrive. This way, you won't see the emails in your inbox, but you'll still be able to access them if you need to. To do this:
    • Go to Settings (gear icon) > More Settings > Filters.
    • Click "Add a new filter".
    • Set the filter criteria to "Received" and select "Unread".
    • Apply the filter.
  2. Use the "Priority" feature: You can set a priority level for your emails, which will move them to a separate folder. This way, you can keep your inbox organized and hide less important emails. To do this:
    • Go to Settings (gear icon) > More Settings > Priority.
    • Set the priority level for the emails you want to hide.
    • Move the emails to the "Priority" folder.
  3. Use a third-party add-on or extension: There are several third-party add-ons and extensions available that can help you hide received emails in Yahoo Mail. For example, you can try "Email Hider" or "Inbox Manager". These add-ons can help you hide emails, move them to a separate folder, or even delete them automatically.
  4. Use a separate email account: If you're receiving a large number of unwanted emails, you might consider creating a separate email account specifically for those emails. This way, you can keep your main email account organized and focused on important emails.

Please note that while these methods can help minimize the visibility of received emails, they may not completely hide them. If you're concerned about email privacy or security, it's always a good idea to use a reputable email provider and follow best practices for email security.
