How to import contacts with windows mail

Windows Mail is a legacy email client that was included with Windows Vista and Windows 7. It's no longer supported by Microsoft, and it's not compatible with modern operating systems like Windows 10. However, I can provide you with some general steps on how to import contacts from other sources into Windows Mail, if you still have it installed on your system.

Importing contacts from other email clients:

  1. Open Windows Mail and go to the "Contacts" folder.
  2. Click on "File" > "Import" > "Import from another program or file".
  3. Select the email client or program you want to import contacts from (e.g., Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.).
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the import process.

Importing contacts from CSV or vCard files:

  1. Open Windows Mail and go to the "Contacts" folder.
  2. Click on "File" > "Import" > "Import from a file".
  3. Select the CSV or vCard file you want to import contacts from.
  4. Choose the import format (e.g., CSV, vCard, etc.).
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the import process.

Importing contacts from online services:

  1. Open Windows Mail and go to the "Contacts" folder.
  2. Click on "File" > "Import" > "Import from an online service".
  3. Select the online service you want to import contacts from (e.g., Google Contacts, Yahoo Contacts, etc.).
  4. Enter your login credentials and follow the prompts to complete the import process.

Note: Windows Mail is no longer supported, and it's not compatible with modern operating systems. If you're using a newer version of Windows, I recommend using the built-in Mail app or a third-party email client like Outlook or Thunderbird.

If you're looking for a way to import contacts into a modern email client, I'd be happy to help you with that as well!
