How to import mail backup into mailstore

MailStore Server is a popular email archiving solution that allows you to import email backups from various sources, including PST files, EML files, and more. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import a mail backup into MailStore Server:

Prerequisites:

  1. You have a MailStore Server installation set up and running.
  2. You have a backup of your email data in a format that MailStore Server supports (e.g., PST, EML, MSG, etc.).
  3. You have the necessary credentials to access the backup file (e.g., password, username, etc.).

Importing a PST file:

  1. Log in to the MailStore Server web interface using your administrator credentials.
  2. Click on the "Import" button in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select "Email Client Data" as the import type.
  4. Choose "PST" as the file format.
