How to increase mail receiving timing in outlook
Outlook's default mail receiving timing is set to check for new emails every 30 minutes. However, you can adjust this timing to check for new emails more frequently or less frequently, depending on your needs. Here's how:
Method 1: Adjust the Send/Receive interval
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Options" and then click on "Advanced".
- In the "Send/Receive" section, click on the "Schedule" button.
- In the "Schedule" window, you can adjust the "Send and Receive every" dropdown menu to change the interval at which Outlook checks for new emails. You can choose from options like "Every 5 minutes", "Every 15 minutes", "Every 30 minutes", etc.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Method 2: Use the "Check for new mail" option
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Options" and then click on "Advanced".
- In the "Send/Receive" section, click on the "Check for new mail" dropdown menu.
