How to keep the mail unread in outlook

There are a few ways to keep emails unread in Outlook:

  1. Use the "Mark as Unread" button: When you open an email, you can click the "Mark as Unread" button in the top right corner of the email window. This will mark the email as unread, even if you've already read it.
  2. Use the "Mark as Unread" keyboard shortcut: You can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+U" (Windows) or "Command+Shift+U" (Mac) to mark an email as unread.
  3. Use the "Unread" flag: You can also use the "Unread" flag to mark an email as unread. To do this, open the email, click on the "Flag" button in the top right corner of the email window, and select "Unread".
  4. Use a third-party add-in: There are also third-party add-ins available that can help you keep emails unread in Outlook. For example, you can use the "Unread Mail" add-in, which allows you to mark emails as unread with a single click.

It's worth noting that if you're using Outlook's "Focused Inbox" feature, you may need to use a different method to mark emails as unread. In the Focused Inbox, emails are automatically marked as read or unread based on the sender and content of the email.
