How to know unread mails in gmail account

There are several ways to know if you have unread emails in your Gmail account:

  1. Check the Gmail inbox page: Log in to your Gmail account and check the inbox page. If you have unread emails, they will be marked with a bold font and a blue dot next to the sender's name.
  2. Use the Gmail mobile app: If you have the Gmail mobile app installed on your phone or tablet, you can check for unread emails by opening the app and swiping down on the inbox screen. Unread emails will be highlighted in bold.
  3. Check the Gmail notification: If you have notifications enabled on your device, you will receive a notification when you receive a new email. The notification will display the sender's name and the subject of the email.
  4. Use the Gmail label: You can use the "Unread" label to filter your emails and see only the unread emails. To do this, go to the Gmail settings, click on the "Labels" tab, and create a new label called "Unread". Then, go to the inbox page and click on the "Unread" label to see only the unread emails.
  5. Use the Gmail search operator: You can use the Gmail search operator "is:unread" to find all unread emails in your inbox. To do this, go to the Gmail search bar and type "is:unread" and press Enter.
  6. Check the Gmail sidebar: If you have the Gmail sidebar enabled, you can check for unread emails by clicking on the "Unread" tab. This will show you a list of all unread emails in your inbox.
  7. Use a third-party email client: If you use a third-party email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, you can set up your Gmail account and check for unread emails using the client.

By using one or more of these methods, you can easily keep track of your unread emails in your Gmail account.
