How to loop mail in gmail
Looping emails in Gmail can be a bit tricky, but I'll guide you through the process. Looping emails means sending an email to a recipient, and then having that recipient send the same email back to you, creating a loop.
Method 1: Using Gmail's "Reply" feature
- Compose a new email to the recipient you want to loop.
- Write your message and add any attachments.
- Click the "Reply" button instead of "Send".
- In the "To" field, add the recipient's email address again.
- Click "Reply" again to send the email back to the recipient.
Method 2: Using Gmail's "Forward" feature
- Compose a new email to the recipient you want to loop.
- Write your message and add any attachments.
- Click the "Forward" button instead of "Send".
- In the "To" field, add the recipient's email address again.
- Click "Forward" again to send the email back to the recipient.
Method 3: Using Gmail's "Canned Response" feature (Gmail Labs)
- Enable the "Canned Responses" feature in Gmail Labs (Settings > Labs > Canned Responses).
- Compose a new email to the recipient you want to loop.
- Write your message and add any attachments.
- Click the "Canned Response" button (looks like a lightning bolt).
- Select the "Loop" option.
- Gmail will automatically send the email back to the recipient.
Important notes:
- Be cautious when using looping emails, as they can quickly become overwhelming and may be considered spam.
- Some email providers may block or flag looped emails as spam.
- Looping emails can also cause issues with email threading and organization.
Before you start looping, make sure you understand the potential consequences and consider alternative communication methods.
