How to mail one with send receipt in gmail

To send an email with a read receipt in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Request read receipt" feature

  1. Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the compose window.
  3. Select "Show settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the "Settings" window, scroll down to the "General" tab.
  5. Under "Sending", check the box next to "Request read receipt".
  6. Click "Save Changes" to save your changes.
  7. Send the email as you normally would.

Method 2: Using the "Read Receipt" add-on

  1. Install the "Read Receipt" add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace (formerly G Suite Marketplace).
  2. Once installed, compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  3. Click on the "Read Receipt" button in the compose window.
  4. Select the type of read receipt you want to send (e.g., "Read receipt" or "Delivery and read receipt").
  5. Click "Send" to send the email.

Note: The "Request read receipt" feature is only available for Gmail users who have a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) account. If you're using a personal Gmail account, you won't see this option.
