How to mail setting in etimetracklite
In EtiTrackLite, the "Mail" setting allows you to configure the email notifications for your project. Here's how to access and configure the mail settings:
Step 1: Access the Mail Settings
- Log in to your EtiTrackLite account.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- From the drop-down menu, select "Mail Settings".
Step 2: Configure the Mail Settings
In the Mail Settings page, you can configure the following settings:
- SMTP Server: Enter the SMTP server address provided by your email provider.
- SMTP Port: Enter the SMTP port number (usually 25, 587, or 465).
- Email Address: Enter the email address that will be used to send notifications.
- Password: Enter the password for the email address.
- From Name: Enter the name that will be displayed in the "From" field of the email notifications.
- From Email: Enter the email address that will be displayed in the "From" field of the email notifications.
- Notification Email: Enter the email address that will receive the notifications.
- Notification Interval: Set the interval at which notifications will be sent (e.g., every 15 minutes, every hour, etc.).
Step 3: Save the Changes
Once you've configured the mail settings, click the "Save" button to save the changes.
Additional Tips
- Make sure to test your email settings by sending a test email from EtiTrackLite to ensure that the settings are correct.
- You can also configure the mail settings for specific projects or users by clicking on the "Project Settings" or "User Settings" icon and then selecting "Mail Settings".
- If you're using a Gmail account, you may need to enable "Less secure app access" in your Google Account settings to allow EtiTrackLite to send emails.
