How to mail to group in gmail

To mail a group in Gmail, you can use the "To" field and enter the group name followed by a colon and the email addresses of the group members. Here's how:

  1. Compose a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button in the top left corner of the Gmail window.
  2. In the "To" field, enter the name of the group followed by a colon and the email addresses of the group members, separated by commas. For example:

groupname: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

  1. Gmail will automatically suggest the group name and the email addresses of the group members as you type. You can select the group name from the dropdown list to add the email addresses to the "To" field.
  2. Add a subject and body to the email as needed.
  3. Click the "Send" button to send the email to the group.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Groups" feature in Gmail to send an email to a group. Here's how:

  2. Select the group you want to send an email to from the list of groups.
  3. Compose a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button in the top left corner of the Gmail window.
  4. Add a subject and body to the email as needed.
  5. Click the "Send" button to send the email to the group.

Note: To use the "Groups" feature, you need to have a Google Group set up and have been added to it by the group administrator.
