How to make a group in outlook mail

To create a group in Outlook Mail, follow these steps:

Method 1: Create a group from the People view

  1. Open Outlook Mail and go to the People view by clicking on the "People" button in the navigation pane.
  2. Click on the "New Group" button in the "Home" tab.
  3. Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
  4. Add members to the group by typing their names or email addresses in the "Add members" field. You can also select multiple members by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
  5. Click "OK" to create the group.

Method 2: Create a group from the Inbox view

  1. Open Outlook Mail and go to the Inbox view by clicking on the "Inbox" button in the navigation pane.
  2. Click on the "New Email" button in the "Home" tab.
  3. In the "To" field, type the name of the group you want to create, followed by a colon and the name of the group (e.g., "My Team: My Team Group").
  4. Add members to the group by typing their names or email addresses in the "To" field. You can also select multiple members by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
  5. Click "Send" to create the group.

Method 3: Create a group from the Contacts view

  1. Open Outlook Mail and go to the Contacts view by clicking on the "Contacts" button in the navigation pane.
  2. Click on the "New Contact Group" button in the "Home" tab.
  3. Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
  4. Add members to the group by selecting them from your contact list or typing their names or email addresses in the "Add members" field. You can also select multiple members by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
  5. Click "OK" to create the group.

Once you've created a group, you can use it to send emails to all members of the group at once. Simply address an email to the group name, and Outlook will automatically add all the members to the "To" field.

Note: To manage your groups, go to the People view and click on the "Groups" button in the navigation pane. From there, you can edit group settings, add or remove members, and more.
